| For Books That Are Tough To Locate, Finding Books Online Might Be A Valid Option |

My first exposure to on-line books was in school. Even though we always had the option to buy textbooks in the store, many of the professors put their publications on-line as well. Doing that would save the students money and let them access the books from any computer in the campus. This meant that you never had to carry around your text-books - a major benefit after a semester of trudging through the snow. At first, I was not very into publications online. I could not get into the experience, you see. It just did not feel right to me. I like to be able to unwind with a publication, holding it in my hands and turning the pages. I could tell where things were located and remember the pages by their position. With the book online, you can't do any of those things. It stresses your eyes, calls for you to sit upright in the same pose for hour after hour, and is very hard to flip your way through. I also like audio books on CD, though. After a few years of online book reading, however, I was quite a bit more acclimated to the process, just like I had gotten used to audio books. I had already started to buy books online for almost every purpose. I bought sports books online, text-books on-line - you think of it. Not only did the internet let me buy printed books cheaply, but it also allowed me to access many things that were out-of-print. Reading publications on-line is not truly that good for contemporary literature that you can buy in the store. You may as well either buy it or borrow it from the library, or hear it, with books on cd. The awesome thing about books on-line, however, is that you can often find very old ones with very little trouble. Resources such as Project Gutenberg allow you to get into the great classics of writing from all places and times around the world. As long as it is no longer copy protected, you can legally put the book online. Of course, the area where books on-line have the best benefit of all is with audio books. The awesome thing about audio books online is that it's so much more convenient than having to borrow them from the library or turn to an audio publication store. Instead, you can just download them to your computer and listen to them at your leisure. If you want to take them with you, you can place them on an mp3 player or put them onto Disc.
