A physician will determine which muscles or joints need to be worked on and will then recommend a series of workouts or stretches which will then make those spots stronger or more flexible. This will help many people who are older or have stress related injuries.

The last option, which many people attempt to wait as long as possible to do is to take part in surgery. This might repair something which is broken, or a rod or screws may be placed in your back in order to give support that your body was unable to offer on its own. This is undoubtedly the most dangerous option and should only be considered as a last resort.
